Safety First is a ready-to-use, alcohol-based liquid hand and skin disinfectant. Manufactured according to a proven WHO formulation, it offers reliable protection against bacteria and numerous viruses. The preparation is limited virucidal, i.e. it is effective against enveloped viruses – these include important pathogens such as HIV, influenza, hepatitis C and hepatitis B viruses. Safety First is also effective against the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-19). The disinfectant is manufactured in Germany and is registered as a biocidal product with the German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA)

Advantages and possible areas of application

Safety First contains ethanol as its main ingredient at a concentration of 66.5%. For better skin compatibility, the substance glycerol is added, which has a re-greasing and caring effect. Other ingredients are purified water and hydrogen peroxide. Safety First is free of colorants or fragrances and therefore does not usually cause allergic reactions, even with long-term use. For hygienic hand disinfection, at least 3 ml of the preparation should be rubbed into dry hands for 30 seconds. The disinfectant dries quickly and without residue.

The product is ideally suited for clinics, nursing homes, doctors’ offices and other healthcare facilities where high hygiene requirements prevail. However, companies, commercial enterprises, government agencies, schools or daycare centers are also increasingly turning to disinfectants at present to provide even better protection for customers, visitors and employees.
