FFP2 Masks with Exhalation Valve – Protection Against Pathogens and Toxins
Protective masks are an important part of PPE and are indispensable in medical facilities and trade professions. FFP2-class masks offer reliable protection against risk class 2 bacteria and viruses. They also filter out many hazardous particles from the air.
FFP2 masks with exhalation valve for daily use
According to their classification, FFP2 protective masks filter at least 94% of particulate matter from the air we breathe. The integrated exhalation valve reduces resistance when exhaling while also optimising the disposal of heat and moisture. However, this means that FFP2 masks with an integrated exhalation valve do not filter exhaled air. As such, this kind of product should only be used in situations where the wearer needs protection. If masks are required to protect both the wearer and others, you should choose a model without an exhalation valve. We of course stock suitable FFP2 and FFP3 protective masks in our product range.
