The EASY CHECK is a lay test that provides detection of SARS-CoV-2 infection based on a person’s saliva. This noninvasive specimen collection means that a typical nasopharyngeal swab is not required. How the EASY CHECK Corona test works

The test person first spits their saliva into the paper bag provided. Then, using the pipette provided, a sample can be taken and added to the liquid in the prepared test tube. This mixture is shaken vigorously. This produces a solution of which three drops are to be applied to the test cartridge. After a waiting time of no more than 20 minutes, the test result can be read.

Because of this simple procedure, this saliva test is suitable as a lay test in all places where regular testing is required for occupational reasons. For example, it allows use in schools for teachers and children. Of course, it also serves as an uncomplicated test variant for medically trained professionals, for example as a pharmacist’s test.
